My birthday weekend was pretty great.
Thursday: Friday's with a bunch of people, got sang to
Friday: Mark took me to Shea's for a delish breakfast, got wedge sandals from village thrift, visited BB and saw the most hilarious person ever, picked up Nick and headed to Sonar, saw Saves the day, got taco bell, watched Taxi Driver until we passed out
Saturday: Picked up Lindsay, got free Panera, walked around Ulta forever, applied at Pier 1 imports, went to Jason's, got a long sleeve UMBC shirt from Goodwill, free pizza from Papa Johns, Skate trash at ET, got ice cream from Friendly's, sleepover at Jason's
Today: Drove back to Mark's at 7:30am and then passed out, Mark had to work so I picked Julie & Matt up and got bagel bistro, Watched The Strangers & Trekkies while doing homework, dinner at Ledo's, heading back to school soon

This week is going to be stressful

This is the most depressing thing ever right now, and it is not an exagerration at all that I have to complete all of those things. Most of which is due by May 12. Today's weather sucks. I just want to sleep all day.

Some things might never be okay, but today was so beautiful that I don't care at all. I did a bunch of homework outside and am a teensy bit less pale haha Every day with nice weather gets me so much more pumped for summertime! I just want to skip all of my classes tomorrow and go to Patapsaco State park because it's so close. I am really excited/upset to be leaving my dorm in a few weeks. I don't think that I got the college experience that I was hoping for, but I did make really good friends that all are also commuting next year!

Yesterday was weird. I'm okay i'm okay i'm okay. really. I went to the Talent show at Eastern tech. It is always nice visiting that place and sometimes I do miss the time I spent there. Definitely a fond experience to look back on. I saw Marge & Jordan which is always nice, I'm happy that they are staying so close to us when we go to OC. I went to Friday's afterward with the usual crowd. My food was a weird combination of good food. Mark and I spent the night at Jason's with Lindsay. We watched some of Real Genius and talked before sleep. I came back to school this morning with Stef. I volunteered at Cause Fest in the Commons, participated in Mawish's short film about dreams, and went to the Volunteer Recognition ceremony for being chosen as a France & Merrick Scholar and receiving a $1,000 scholarship. I am really excited because Mawish is in my Intro to Art and Media studies course next semester! Also, BARCS was at Cause fest and I was reminded how much I'd like to get involved there, so I plan to this summer. You can just walk dogs which sounds awesome to me! I am about to head to hang out with Mark & George. The oktomat rules btw

the only thing I know is awkward silence

Today I watch I Heart Huckabees. It was good, but really weird. It was about existentialism and some parts were confusing, but the end was nice I thought.

Mondays are the worst when it comes to homework. I always end up staying up late finishing it. Today is even worse because I have a 1000 word blog to write for MCS on top of the usual stuff. I had an awkward encounter with my suitemate today. I am the type to avoid confrontation.

this weather wears me down

Thursday: After school and work I went to Mark's house. We went to Friday's to get dinner with Lindsay, Jason, Dan, Rob, & Sarah. We basically just talked about OC and came up with really fun/goofy ideas. LJ spent the night at Mark's after that, where we watched Blood Simple, but mostly slept.
Friday: Jason went to work, so Mark, Lindsay, and me went to Oasis for breakfast, went to the thrift store & got film developed at walmart. Mark and I went to his house for a little while and he washed my hair haha We all met back up at sazzio's and then went over Jason's for awhile. Mark and I went to the Ottobar and met up with Garrett, Matt, and Rich. Trash Talk was really great as expected and The Bronx headlined and they were good too. It was fun seeing Matt & Rich cause I only run into them once every few months. On the way home we got wawa subs
Saturday: I went home to go up to PA for my cousin's bridal shower. It was a really funny day because my aunt made tons of margeritas and daquiris and my family went crazy. When I got home I met up with Mark & George at Eastern tech where they were playing tennis. We went to taco bell with Sam and Shawn when they met up. Afterwards we had no idea what we wanted to do so we ended up back at ET around 12:30am and had a tennis ball throwing/frisbee/skateboarding session. I think everyone got hurt at some point. We all got slurpees and then went home.
Sunday: Mark and I picked up Lindsay and we got snowballs and then ate lunch at red robin. My roll of film came up blank for some reason which was the most depressing thing ever. We went to Dan's and Jason eventually got there and we basically just watched tons of youtube videos and messed around for hours. I spent the night at Mark's again and came back to school this morning.

Constellations

Okay, so the first time Mark and I hung out when we started dating (3 yrs and 3 months ago) it was the night of Snoball at ET, but we opted not to go since we just started dating. Soo we are hanging out at my house and we were like Hmmm maybe we should have gone? Mark then asked me to dance and we slow danced to Constellations by Jack Johnson in my living room. Awwwwwhwhwhwhwh


Needless to say, I am listening to good old JJ for the first time in maybe a year? So soothing, still so good

I have been listening to Coconut Records so much lately. It is so so good. I like the new yyy album too!

I thought that I could let go things with SEB, but I am having a really hard time feeling comfortable in that situation. Erghhhh Anyways, today was slightly productive, I'm working on homework now. Stefano and I hung out for a really long time today which was refreshing, he can always make me laugh. We went to Giant and I got boca chicken & oatmeal. Easter yesterday was really nice except that my family talks about politics too much and it is the most aggravating thing. Later I hung out with Lindsay, Jason, and Mark. We went to see Observe and Report with Dan and I liked it so much more than I thought I would! Serious lols and more original plot than the trailers let on. Okay, back to hw

Happiness

Everyday I am consumed with happiness and love. My friends make me smile to no end and Mark makes me feel all those goopy feelings that continue to amaze me. Yesterday was really really really really nice! I woke up next to Mark and I took him on a date to Nacho Mama's which is impossible to eat in one sitting. We walked around Canton, Fells Point, and journeyed up to the Inner Harbor. We went to UO and bought a new lomo camera to share! Very exciting and I can't wait to see what pictures we will take. I am excited for spring and summer which are the best fisheye seasons because it is so bright out. Then Mark surprised me with a lemon stick which I told him a few weeks ago that I would like. So good and we sat by the water for a little while. On the walk back to the car we noticed that one of the pieces of the Baltimore benches from around the city was sitting on the ground that says "The Greatest City In America", so Mark carried it for six blocks back to the car. We will display it somewhere at some point? haha, Best find. We met up with Lindsay & Jason when they were dealing with cars for a little bit and then went to my house for a few hours. We met back up with L/J at his house, ate pizza, made brownies, and watched Funny Games. I've wanted to see that for awhile and thought it was pretty awesome.

Things that have made me happy lately:

falling asleep at or before midnight 3 nights in a row, getting my hw done really early, watching good documentaries in history of film, working out at the gym a lot, that Thursday is tomorrow and that means the weekend!, having short hair, talking to kelin earlier, finding classes for next year, that my boss said I am a very valuable worker & have been doing great, and of course my wonderful/cute/supportive boyfriend :)

father nurture

This past weekend ruled. Saturday morning I had to get up at 7 to work New Student Day. It was pretty fun actually and I gave two tours. It was nice because I work with the same people all of the time so I got to meet and talk more with other people who I never even see. This is the first time that I don't have any complaints about my job! I'm really considering working there this summer despite the commute. I'd be guaranteed a lot more hours than at friendly's anyway. Sooo after that I picked up Lindsay, we went to visit Mark at mars since he does nothing all day, and then went to get my hair cut. I cut like a million inches off and it's the shortest its been since like 7th grade. I love it! Mark, Jason, and Rob joined us and we went to red brick for dinner and saw Adventureland at midnight. It was not the comedy I expected but I really liked it all the same. I spent the night at Mark's and came home in the morning. I went to the circus with my family which I've never been to before. Idgaf that we are all over the age of 14, it fucking ruled. Then Mark came over and we cooked out. Mark and I helped make food together. After we picked up Lindsay & Jason and went to Dan's house to hang with him and Rob. We all laugh nonstop and it is just a really fun time always.

Sleepy thoughts

Josh gave me a bunch of music and I still need to take more. I just added like 300 tracks to my library, and these Ben Gibbard solo songs are so pretty. I hung out with him, Miki, and Jason tonight and it was fun & relaxing. They make me laugh a lot because they fight like brothers. Last night Mark was here and we watched Chasing Amy which I liked. Earlier we went to arundel mills and this neat, cheap thrift store after picking up Adam. His energetic personality is so silly, I love it! I don't want to sleep without you even though the bed gets so hot.

The Visitor

This movie was really good. The first time I've cried watching a movie in awhile
